Kushee Ravi has always had a passion for festivals and eagerly anticipates this time of year when they approach. Growing up, she celebrated all festivals grandly at her maternal home, but after getting married, the celebrations were limited. However, two years ago, moving into a new home provided the space and opportunity to celebrate with great enthusiasm. Kushee, known affectionately as Dia Kushee, shares that the festival season starts with Varamahalakshmi habba, which is one of her favorite occasions. She remarks that their family's culinary talents shine during traditional festivals. Kushee admires her mother-in-law and describes waking up early to prepare for Varamahalakshmi puja by 5:30 am. Dressed elegantly, the family gathers for the puja, and she appreciates the enthusiasm that everyone shows on this special day. They invite family and friends, especially those unable to host the goddess idol at their homes. Traditional dishes like obbattu and sajjige are indispensable on their festive menu.
